Fulham 0-1 Manchester United

The Premier League weekend fixtures started with the early kick-off from Craven Cottage as Fulham welcomed an out-of-form Manchester United. Brentford 3-2 West Ham United

In one of the best games of the weekend, Brentford would take all 3 points at home to West Ham United. The Bees took an early lead through Everton loanee Neal Maupay in the 11th minute. An own-goal from Konstantinos Mavropanos in the 55th made the score level until the 69th minute when Nathan Collins would seal all 3 points for Brentford.

Manchester City 6-1 Bournemouth

A convincing win for City saw them score 6 goals at home to Bournemouth with goals from Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva (2) Manuel Akanji, Phil Foden and Nathan Ake. Bournemouth were able to respond with a goal from Luis Sinisterra, but it was a relatively easy day at the office for City who climbed to the top of the table.

Sheffield United 2-1 Wolves

A very late winner say Sheffield United take all 3 points at Bramall Lane. It was the 72nd minute when the first goal was scored. Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal

In what was to be the most controversial game of the weekend. Newcastle took on Premier League challengers Arsenal at St James’ Park. Nottingham Forest 2-0 Aston Villa

Top 4 chasing Aston Villa travelled to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest. Ola Aina gave Forest the lead in the 5th minute and Orel Managala doubling their lead in the 47th. Villa remain in 5th position, just outside the top 4 spots with Forest climbing to 12th in the table.
