Manchester United’s Performance Last Season

The 2024/25 season proved to be a transitional year for Manchester United. While the club finished 15th in the Premier League, the season also featured moments of promise and resilience, particularly in Europe.

One of the standout achievements was United’s impressive run to the UEFA Europa League final, showcasing determination and tactical maturity under new manager Rúben Amorim, who took over in November. Though they narrowly lost 1–0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the final, the campaign offered a glimpse of what the side could achieve in the future. Plus, talents like Kobbie Mainoo continued to develop, and the squad began to settle under Amorim’s leadership.

The club now has a unique opportunity to rebuild, focus solely on domestic competitions, and return stronger. With a new managerial direction and a core of emerging players, Manchester United will look to turn the page and push forward in 2025/26.
