Van Dijk & Alexander-Arnold Named New Liverpool Captains!

Jurgen Klopp has named the successors to Jordan Henderson and James Milner as captain and vice captain of Liverpool FC. Virgil Van Dijk will take the captain’s armband for LFC, he is also the captain of his national team, the Netherlands. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been given the honour of being vice captain, replacing James Milner. The local scouser was told during the warm-up for one of Liverpool’s pre-season games in Singapore.

Liverpool FC enter a new era with a lot of the old guard having left for new challenges and a refresh of their midfield. Van Dijk will want his first season as captain to be a success as Liverpool look to qualify for the Champions League and even challenge for the title in the 23/24 Premier League season.
