History of Manchester City FC
Manchester City was founded in 1880 as St. Mark’s (West Gorton), becoming Manchester City in 1894. Since moving to the Etihad Stadium in 2003, City has achieved unprecedented success – featuring multiple Premier League titles, domestic cups, and the 2023 UEFA Champions League trophy – establishing themselves as one of England’s most decorated clubs.
Legends
Manchester City has been defined by extraordinary players. Colin Bell, nicknamed “The King,” starred through the late 1960s and early 70s and earned legendary status among fans. Sergio Agüero crafted one of football’s greatest moments with his 93:20 title-winning goal in 2012, while modern icons like Kevin De Bruyne continue to shape the club’s success with unmatched flair and vision.
