This is a brand new role and the ideal candidate must be passionate about sales, commercially minded and bursting with new ideas. Driven, self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Ambitious, confident who thrives on pressure and is a great communicator. You’re resourceful, organised and passionate about driving revenues.

Key responsibilities:

• Maximising all sales opportunities from existing channels
• Generate sales from non-established channels F1 / Rugby / Cricket / Horse Racing / Golf / Boxing
• Develop direct corporate sales leads
• Maximise repeat spend from existing clients
• Offer quotations for any Trade Only enquiries
• Managing an established database of Trade clients ensuring they can log into the Club Sports sales portal
• Be accountable – ensure sales targets are achieved
• Acquire and source new leads to grow the business
• Be able to spot and develop new business opportunities
• Enrich our existing sales database with data to improve our segmentation
• Re-activate dormant leads on sales database
• Attend networking events and Trade Shows such as World Travel Market, London, Business events, Chamber events, our events and venues to represent Club Sports and build contacts / leads
• Attend sporting events / shows and concerts to build contacts / leads

  • Strong knowledge and interest in the sporting and entertainment industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic, combined with a strong work ethic
  • Positive outlook
  • B2B sales experience
  • Customer focussed with exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills – the ability to effectively with people at all level
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to be flexible in approach to achieve desired outcomes.

Person Specification:

  • You will have experience of being successful in a sale and target driven environment.
  • You will have proven track record of developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients providing them with a premium service to help grow accounts.
  • You will have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • You will have a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and oral communication skills particularly over the telephone / email / in-person
  • Good problem solving and organisational skills
  • Numerate
  • Computer literate – Google Sheets / Microsoft Office / Word / Excel /
  • Use of CRM Systems

Experience of the following would be an advantage:

Knowledge and understanding of events, ticketing sales processes, sales procedures and online booking, databases and CRM Systems.

Previous experience of:

Sales, Customer Service, Events, Ticketing, Hospitality

Keen interest in:

Sporting Events / Events / Entertainment / Hospitality / Tourism & Leisure

Office Hours 9:00 – 17:30 (Can be flexible)
Monday – Friday
Please note some evening and weekend work will be required around key events
